Throwback Thursday #TBT

THROWBACK THURSDAY… to when I was overtired, overweight and underwhelmed. I had lost my “oooomph” and quite honestly, I thought I was just destined to feel frumpy and overweight for the rest of my life. And I wasn’t even fourty yet. ☹️. Really, that is a very sad outlook to have. ☹️

But I was kidding myself. Nobody HAS TO stay stuck where they are. It’s all about choices and about having the right tools and support to help you. ❤️

Once I made up my mind that I was tired of being tired and feeling blah, that was the first step. Then I kept seeing photos of my coach in my newsfeed and finally curiousity got the best of me and I reached out to her.  And when she filled me in on how everything was done at home and the amazing support and sense of community that her online groups provided, I figured, what did I have to lose….

Well I can tell you what I LOST…

❤️some weight

❤️my feeling of being dumpy and “blah”

❤️my irritability

And what I GAINED

❤️muscle tone ?

❤️confidence

❤️energy

❤️a new outlook on “growing old” ?

I used to feel uncomfortable posting these photos because I always feared that people would think I was posting them to brag. But, now I post them and I don’t worry because I’ve had so many people tell me that my posts and my photos have inspired them to make a change too.  And THAT is why I do this. #changeisgood

So, if you’re feeling “stuck” and hopeless, remember that’s it’s a choice to stay put where you are. It only takes one decision to DECIDE that it’s time to MAKE A CHANGE ❤️
